How do I apply for admission?

Complete the student application form and pay the application fee. The application asks you to select a major and a "home college" from among the partner institutions. The form has eight sections and may take 5 to 10 minutes to complete. You will need to have the following information available when you fill out the application:

  • high school GPA and graduation year
  • your drivers license number
  • Social Security number
  • where you were born -- city, county, and state
  • an emergency contact
  • email address and phone number

How much is the application fee? How can I pay?

The application fee is $35. This is a nonrefundable fee. You can pay the fee online (on our secure web page) with a bankcard or mail a check or money order to the UEC offices. Your application will be complete only when the fee is received.

Is distance learning right for me?

Distance education is a solution for people whose lifestyles make attending class on campus difficult: working students, students with children or other family obligations, students who simply live too far from campus to commute. If you are self-directed and organized, you may very well be successful taking classes at a distance. Take the DEAR Survey to explore your awareness and readiness to be successful in a technology delivered class.
