Curriculum RFP for FY 06-07
The UEC curriculum development grant program fosters the development of quality technology delivered courses and programs, workshops and scholarship related to distance education. The Request for Proposals (RFP) for FY05-06 Round has a submission deadline of March 31, 2006. Notification of award decisions will be mailed April 21, 2006.
RFP Focus
With this round, in addition to the general theme of distance education curriculum development, the commissioner’s staff have identified four special focus areas:
- Priority 1 – Develop courses or a new certificate or degree program that responds to state workforce needs.
- Priority 2 – Develop classes to complete an online certificate or degree.
- Priority 3 – Use technology delivered instruction to better prepare students for college success.
- Priority 4 – Explore economies (and challenges) made possible by learning management systems.
