Student Service Center
The Student Service Center at the Utah eLearning Connection is dedicated to you – the student. We can help you do more than simply register for courses. Our can:
- assist you with academic advising;
- inform you about registration and transcript services;
- refer you to campus services, when appropriate;
- support you in developing and implementing your academic goals.
The Student Service Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 am – 5 pm, Mountain Standard Time. Call 877-533-9235 or email. You will receive accurate and timely answers to questions about higher education, distance education, or general student services.
Campus Based Services
Student services are provided through a network of student services staff located on each of our college and university campuses. You should work most closely with the staff from your home college. In addition, contact your instructors. Ask what you need to do to get started.
The campus coordinator or the Distance Education Service Center staff can answer logistical questions, like how to arrange for exams or look up grades. Textbooks can generally be ordered by phone from the campus bookstore or from a number of online book vendors. There are numerous online library resources available through Pioneer Library.
Allow more time to access these resources than you would need if you were on campus. Allow lots of lead time if you want to take an English or math class: you may need to take a placement test through the Assessment Office.
Speak with an academic advisor if you have questions about which classes are needed for your major. In short, take full advantage of student service resources.
